Year 10

The minimum requirements to demonstrate English competency for Year 10 entry are:

  • IELTS Overall Band Score: 4.5; TOEFL:BT 32; PTE 30; CAE 36

The minimum requirements to demonstrate academic competency for Year 10 entry are:

  • Year 9 - Australia, China PRC, India, Indonesia, Korea (South), South Africa, Sri Lanka, Vietnam
  • Form 3 - Brunei, China (Hong Kong), Kenya, Macau, Malaysia, Singapore, Zambia, Zimbabwe
  • Year 10 - Japan, United Arab Emirates
  • M3 - Thailand

Year 11

The minimum requirements to demonstrate English competency for Year 11 entry are:

  • SPM English: D7
  • HKCEE/HKDSE/F5 English: Level 2
  • IELTS Overall Band Score: 5.0; TOEFL:BT 35; PTE 36; CAE 41

The minimum requirements to demonstrate academic competency for Year 11 entry are:

  • Year 10 with 4 C grades - Australia, Sri Lanka
  • Year 10 equivalent with 60% average - Bangladesh
  • Form 4 with 4 C grades - Brunei
  • Year 11 10+1 - Bhutan
  • Year 1 senior high school, 70% average in 4 academic subjects - China (PRC)
  • Form 4 with 50% or higher in relevant academic subjects - China (Hong Kong)
  • Year 10 with 50% or higher in relevant academic subjects - India
  • Year 10 with average 7.0 - Indonesia
  • Year 11 with GPA of 2.0 - Japan
  • Year 11 with C grade average - Kenya, Zambia
  • Year 11 with 4 D grades - Korea (South)
  • Year 1 senior high school, 65% average in 4 academic subjects - Macau
  • Form 4 with 4 C grades in academic subjects - Malaysia
  • Form 4 with C grade average - Mauritius
  • Pass at Year 10 level - Oman, South Africa, Turkey, United Arab Emirates
  • Year 10 equivalent. N levels on a case by case basis - Singapore
  • Senior middle 1 with 65% average in 4 academic subjects - Taiwan
  • Matayom 4 with GPA of 2.5
  • Year 10 with 4 passes - Vietnam
  • Form 4 with 3 C grades - Zimbabwe

Year 12 WACE and WAUFP (Foundation Program)

The minimum requirements to demonstrate English competency for Year 12 entry are:

  • GCE 'O' Level English, 1119: C6
  • SPM English: C6
  • HKCEE/HKDSE/F5 English: Level 3
  • IELTS Overall Band Score: 5.5; TOEFL:BT 46; PTE 42; CAE 47

The minimum requirements to demonstrate academic competency for Year 12 entry are:

  • Year 11 with 4 C grades - Australia
  • Year 11 equivalent with 60% average - Bangladesh
  • O Level with 4 C grades. N levels on a case by case basis - Brunei, Singapore
  • HSC 10+2 with satisfactory pass - Bhutan
  • Year 2 senior high school, 70% average in 4 academic subjects - China (PRC)
  • Form 5 with 50% or higher in relevant academic subjects - China (Hong Kong)
  • Year 11 with 50% or higher in relevant academic subjects - India
  • SMA2 / Year 11 with average 7.0 - Indonesia
  • Kotogakko Year 2 Certificate - Japan
  • KCSE or O Levels with C grade average - Kenya, Zambia

  • Year 11 equivalent with 55% average - Bangladesh
  • O Level with minimum D grades in 4 academic subjects. N levels on a case by case basis - Brunei, Mauritius, Singapore
  • Senior Middle 2 with 60% average in 4 academic subjects - China (PRC)
  • Form 5 with 45% or higher in relevant academic subjects - China (Hong Kong)
  • Successful completion of Class XI - India
  • SMA2 / Year 11 with average 6.5 - Indonesia
  • Kotogakko Year 2 Certificate - Japan
  • KCSE or O Levels with D grade average - Kenya
  • Senior High School Year 2 - Korea (South)
  • Senior Secondary 2 or Form 5 with minimum 3 passes in academic subjects - Macau

  • Minimum 4 passes in Zambia School Certificate (ECZ) - Zambia

Diploma of Commerce

The minimum requirements to demonstrate English competency for Diploma of Commerce entry are:

  • WACE English, WAUFP ELACS: 50%
  • WACE EALD: 50%
  • GCE 'O' Level English, 1119: C6
  • SPM English: C5
  • HKCEE/HKDSE/F5 English: Level 4
  • IELTS Overall Band Score: 6.0; TOEFL:BT 60; PTE 50; CAE 52

The minimum requirements to demonstrate academic competency are:

  • ATAR 60, acceptable Year 12 grades or Certificate IV results, WAUFP CPS of 45 - Australia
  • Completion of Higher Secondary Certificate (10+2) with 65% average - Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan
  • A Level with 3 passes (minimum of 2 Ds and 1E) - Brunei
  • Senior Middle 3 with 70% average in 4 academic subjects - China (PRC), Taiwan
  • Form 6. A score of 13 or higher in relevant academic subjects (total of best 4) - China (Hong Kong)
  • Senior School Certificate with average of 55% - India
  • Year 12 with average 7.0 - Indonesia
  • High School Graduation with B grade average - Japan
  • KCSE C+ average with pass in Mathematics, A Levels 4 points with 2 passes - Kenya
  • High School Leaving Certificate with grade average 3.0 - Korea (South)
  • Senior Middle 3 with 1 A and 3 B grades or an average of 80% in 4 academic subjects - Macau
  • STMP with 2 passes (min 1 C and 1 D),  Senior Middle 3 with 4 Bs in 4 academic subjects or Ontario Grade 13: 65% - Malaysia
  • GSSC + local diploma (supior results); IB - 20 points; A levels with 2 passes (min 2Ds and 1 E - 5 points); All India High School Certificate with an average of 60% - Oman
  • GCE A levels with 2 passes (min 2 Ds) - Singapore
  • GCE A levels with 3 passes (min 2 Ds and 1 E) or 2 credits in Sri Lanka A levels - Sri Lanka
  • Matayom 6 with GPA of 3.0 in relevant academic subjects - Thailand
  • Tawjihiyya + local diploma (superior results). Other results considered on a case by case basis  - United Arab Emirates
  • Successful completion of Year 12 with 7.0 average in relevant subjects - Vietnam
  • ECZ + local diploma (superior results), A levels with 3 passes (min 2 Ds and 1 E - 5 points) - Zambia
  • ZimSec / A Level with 3 passes (min 2 Ds and 1 E) - Zimbabwe
