Ready in one semester.
The Certificate IV in University Access Program is a one semester pre-diploma program designed to prepare international students for university studies. It leads into the Canning College Diploma of Commerce as well as some degree programs at Curtin University and Murdoch University.

INTAKE & DURATION
Entry is available in January and July each year. The standard academic program goes for 20 weeks.
FUTURE STUDIES
Successful completion will provide a pathway to the Diploma of Commerce at Canning College or entry into some degree programs at Curtin University and Murdoch University. This qualification is equivalent to a 70 Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR).
TUITION
Students can choose a range of subjects to suit their area of interest. They will also receive one hour of Subject Support each week. Mathematics and Academic Communications are compulsory subjects.
Students also choose three additional units each term, including –

- Accounting
- Economics
- Marketing
Learning assistance in Mathematics and Academic Communications is available through the Canning College Learning Centre. There is usually a two-week vacation period between each 10-week tuition period, and examinations are held in the last week of each 10-week term.
PREREQUISITES
Students are required to have an English standard approximately equal to IELTS 5.5 (no band less than 5.0). Students must also have satisfactory completion of Year 11 studies or equivalent.
