At Canning College, we offer structured programs for Years 10, 11, and 12 that give international students plenty of options to reach their academic goals. Our curriculum balances important core subjects with a range of electives, so you can explore your interests while also meeting the requirements for university entry. 

  • Year 10 WA Curriculum: : Provides international students with essential preparation for senior secondary studies, focusing on academic skill development and understanding the curriculum. 
  • Years 11 & 12 WACE Programs: Students work toward the Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE), with comprehensive ATAR preparation for university entrance. 
  • WA Universities’ Foundation Program: The WAUFP is designed specifically for international students and aligns to Western Australia’s Year 12 WACE program. The major differences include an increased focus on English language skills and exams that are written for international students. 
  • An intensive English program: Assists students in the improvement of their verbal and written English language capabilities in preparation for their transition into a standard academic program. 
  • Flexible Subject Combinations: Our academic staff work with international students to select subject combinations that align with university course preferences and career objectives.
